NASA

P1012575  While in Houston we had many adventures.  Tuesday we started off with a trip to NASA with Uncle BJ and the three big kids.  Thanks Grandma for watching the babies!

The kids had fun seeing the old mission control, looking at old rockets, watching a video about NASA, exploring some science experiments, eating pizza (thanks Uncle BJ) and just learning more about space.  While watching the movie, Katie leaned over to tell me how cool space is and how she wants to learn more about it and maybe work in the field some day - too bad it will probably not be possible. :(  She reminded me so much of myself at that age.  Fascinated by space and all it encompasses - it was fun to see that enthusiasm.

P1012556  This flag went to the moon twice - it now is located in the old mission control room with all of the patches of missions surrounding it.

P1012562 These last three are from the rocket park - old rockets that no longer are in use but cool to look at.

P1012583 I love this picture - Rob set it up and it turned out great - I love Sammy's face!
