It all started with planning a large family reunion were all of my parents children, spouses, and grandchildren would be present. Well, the best of intentions – we ended up with a Ball, Leavitt, Turpin and Ricks reunion. It was great fun but we missed the Bob Ball, Lowe and Selim Families. My Mama tried so hard – hopefully it will work out soon!
We got to Galveston on Friday afternoon, unpacked and started cooking dinner. The Leavitt’s were soon there as well as the Turpin’. We ate, hung out and played games. Saturday we took some family pictures (coming shortly), played on the beach, played the Wii, played games, ate tons of food and generally relaxed. Sunday we played, took some more pictures, cleaned up and finally headed home. It was a great weekend and we had a blast.
