Before Thanksgiving we has another really fun 5 days stay at the hospital where Marlissa had 4 feeding tubes placed. I guess for us the 4th one is the charm or maybe because she is number 4 she wanted that number done – who knows. We then got to deal with feeding with a pump and Shelly graciously watched our girl for another week and half while she had her tube. Eventually, the tube was taken out and she now eats like the rest of us. Yeah for her and us! I have gained a whole new respect for parents of children who spend a lot of time in the hospital. My Shelly is amazing!
The day after we got out of the hospital Caleb was in the 3rd grade play. He had a lot of fun – just can’t tell by the look on his face.
Then there was Thanksgiving at the Farm, it happened to fall on Sammy Turpin’s B’day so we celebrated that as well. The Turpins, Leavitts, Balls (both sets), Millers and us came. We had great food, great company and a relaxing day.
