Being in Houston for Christmas was wonderful for me and I got to introduce the family to al of the Ball traditions. This Christmas we read lots of Christmas stories, read the story of Jesus’s birth and part of his life for our early morning scripture study, sang lots of Christmas song, baked lots of goodies, and tried to enjoy the season with all the business of this time of the year. This year was the first time that I have had a job were I worked up till Christmas Eve. Rob had off the last two weeks with the kids so that helped us out a lot.
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve was a traditional Christmas for the Ball Clan. The Leavitts, Selims, Turpins, Ricks, and Balls all meet at the Turpins home for some very yummy food, the Christmas story read by Aunt Cyndi and acted out by many cousins, songs, talents, and presents galore. It seems that everyone had a great time. We missed the Bob Ball family and the Lowes (maybe next year?).
Christmas Day
Santa came, we ate a very yummy breakfast, unwrapped the rest of the presents, watched movies, ate a turkey dinner and just hung out all day. It was very relaxing and nice. The kids had a great time playing with all of their new toys and the babies had a great time getting into everyone elses stuff!
