A Year….

June 19th, Father’s Day this year, marked one year since I did this…..

    I realized that I never really posted any pictures of our wedding day.  It was a crazy busy time of our lives and as time passed it seemed silly to go back.  So, here are a few pictures of the day.  It was the hottest day of the year, almost a 100 degrees, incredibly humid and at about 3pm when taking these pictures.  It took a long time just to get decent shots – Rob still hasn’t forgiven me for taking the photo shot inside somewhere to save us all from the heat but I love outside pictures too much and we all survived – plus I had the most layers on of anyone!  Plus I am only marrying once so we had to get it then!

      

So my family (we missed the Lowe Family), then a few of Rob’s family that were able to make it, Rob and I, us kissing (Rob is going to love that one), our rings, and a bridal portrait.

We had a lovely dinner at an Italian Restaurant nearby and some yummy cake. 

 

 

That day I said yes to eternity with a man I love dearly.  I inherited not only the family he grew up with but 5 terrific kids who I also love dearly!  Looking at these pictures I realized how big everyone has gotten – wow! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In case anyone was wondering they did “wedding clothes” but by this point had changed to save them from red sauce.  

The last year has brought so many changes, adjustments, challenges, joys, excitement and happiness.  It feels like we have been married forever sometimes and other times such a short time.  While melding our family into has been challenging at best I would never go back and have never regretted saying yes.  I know that I made the right decision, with the Lords help and prodding, and am eternally grateful for the good man that I get to walk through life with.
