On Tuesday I pretended I was a homeschooling mom and took the kids out of school to go to the festival with my mom, brother and sister and niece Sammi. We had a great time and it was worth every penny and missed “instructional” hour at school. We learned about the printing press and Katie got to help, we learned about making coins, weaving looms, weaving cloth, carving wood, blowing glass, wax, swung on a huge swing, the babies rode horses, we listened to amazing music and short shows. We had a great time and I was so glad that Ashley came with us. 3 adults and 8 kids was a great combination. Here it is in pictures:
