Today Marlissa turned 3 years old! I can’t believe she is that old and at the same time can’t believe she is not older. We celebrated with a trip to McDonalds with Ashley and Zaba. The girls had a great time and asked for more and more nuggets.
Later we had chicken (her favorite) and chocolate cupcakes. She had been telling me that she wanted 3 because she was going to be 3 but in the end she was thrilled with one. Because her birthday is so soon after Christmas and because everyone around us is so generous we didn’t have that much to give our girl that she needed. But she loves puzzles, games and animals so we ended up some of those. She loves them.
Some of the things we love about Marlissa:
- she has more spunk than 3 or 4 other kids
- her personality is amazing
- she is a fighter
- her stubbornness
- her great smiles and bright eyes
- her fun way she communicates
- her love for Elizabeth and the rest of the family
- her happy nature
- her excitement about everything
- the many faces she produces in about a minutes time (she is very expressionate)
She is a delight and we love her dearly!
