Easter

This year Easter kinds snuck up on me (in a way). We have been really busy with lots of different things going on in our life and I didn’t take the time to really sit and ponder much.  I am so very grateful for a loving Father in Heaven who gave his Son for you and me.  I was reading with the kids about Palm Sunday and how so many did not know the Savior when he made his entrance. I was overwhelmed that day by the grace aJesus-81nd love of our Lord and Savior. One of the things that I pondered was how very lucky I feel to know the Savior, know He lives and loves me. That I know to be true. Easter is truly a time to rejoice and learn and recall more and more of the blessing of having a Savior and being blessed with the gospel of Jesus Christ. How grateful I am.

I love the videos that the church has put out on the life of the Savior.  They are incredible and help me to feel the Savior near.  Here is the link:Life of Christ Videos.

For the family we did some of our traditions: the little girls went on a egg hunt, the kids dyed eggs, the kids got treats, a book and new clothes from the Easter bunny, we read through and reviewed the events of the last days, death, and resurrection of the Lord, we went to church (it was wonderful), and then ate at my sister, Shelly’s house.  It was a wonderful day/

The little girls and I went down to the neighborhood egg hunt and had a great time.  They both did really well and shared with the other kids well – yeah!
