I read people’s blogs and their lives seem enchanted and full and then I think about the normal life I feel like I am living and loving and wonder about that. For years I watched families be formed, grow and then watched the happiness. Sometimes it was from a far sometimes very up close. I got to see the joys, frustrations, concern and happiness that people experience. So, sometimes when I sit down to write a post I wonder what to write. Right now our loves are pretty uneventful most weeks (which I appreciate) but makes harder to blog about. I was telling my mom that before I was married and had 5 kids I wondered why so many moms have a hard time finding time for scripture study, themselves, etc. I understood the idea academically but it is just one of those things that must be experienced. Now I sneak my scripture study into my lunch break at work and not certain about the me time still, but I love it. I would rather do this than my past life any day. So, here are some pictures of our ordinary life – it may seem like I only take pictures of the babies – it is just because they are easier to catch.
Really Grainy but my cute “Big Sister and Little Sister” girls.
Sammy was working with her on picture cards – Marlissa is behind in her language skills and this has seemed to help some.
Making our “BE MINE” sign for Valentines Day!
Rob wanted to watch the Super Bowl (we don’t have cable and get no channels) so we headed out to the farm to hang out with my parents.
Look at all that orange – you would have thought that UT was playing!
With this little one there is never a dull moment.
The kids played hard, stretched out on the tramp (until they got to cold) and generally just hung out. Mama and I started to plan the reunion and so I didn’t get many pictures but the babies did play on the tramp before dinner.
