Katie had a amazing first week in YW and it ended with her being able to attend the temple and perform baptisms for the dead exactly 1 week after she turned 12. It was a special experience for her. On the ride there we talked about what she had learned that day about the temple and I walked her through the entire process from showing up at the temple to leaving with the group. I think that she was ready by the time she got there and her report was that she had a wonderful time. We are proud of her and her desire to be and live worthy to attend the temple. We are so grateful for a good YW presidency that has welcomed her with open arms – what a gift the Lord has given us.
