True Friendship

Rob and I have been trying to teach the kids that a true friend is someone that always has your best interest in mind and so the things they do with you, ask you to do and say to you should project that. I so wish that I can be that kind of friend to everyone I befriend.  I can't say that it is the easiest thing to be that kind of friend but I do know that is the kind of friend I find in so many of my friends, family and my Savior.

I was reading a blog this morning about how each woman needs this kind of friend and that with those friends we can be the best person we can be. In my life I have been blessed with amazing friends that support and love me. I can't imagine this journey through life without the wonderful women that have surrounded me, encouraged me and love me and continue to do so.  Thank you.

I am grateful that I married my best friend, what an amazing thing to be married to a wonderful friend who truly does those things for me each day.  He always has my best interest in mind, treats me with kindness and love and helps me become the best person I can.  I so want to be that person for him. In my journey to find joy in motherhood I am so blessed to have a man who finds joy in fatherhood and supports my quest with love.

Such a great post! So true. I feel so blessed to have had wonderful friends throughout my life and my husband is the best one! I'm glad you found yourself a wonderful guy too and that you are happy being a mom. :)
